About Us
Our Mission
Hollyfort Services is a privately owned Irish Company. Our reputation has been built on the quality of service provided and the calibre of staff engaged in the delivery of specialist projects and facility services.
Our mission is to deliver the highest standards and quality of service in all the projects and contracts we undertake. We ensure that we deliver results and exceed client expectations, and our vast experience in specialist sectors ensures that every project we deliver is the highest quality, with value engineered solutions, finishing on time and within budget.
Our staff are our greatest asset and their contribution and commitment ensures our continued success. We endeavour to be at the leading edge of all aspects of the specialist industry in which we operate, continually resourcing training and opportunities to further enhance the level of service provided.
We recognise the importance of advancement and embracing new methods, solutions, systems and technologies. We believe that our track record and experience, together with our desire to embrace the latest ICT will ensure the delivery of projects and services of unparalleled quality and distinction.
Our History
The company was founded by the Dormers in 1998, Martin Dormer took over as Managing Director in 2006 as Paddy stepped away. With excellent strategy and management, he ensured the company survived through the recession.
Martin developed the company since then with the goal of being the best in the Live Healthcare sector and since obtaining some of the biggest and best customers in Healthcare, possibly the most testing of Live Environment, we have branched out into other sectors where customers require a trusted and highly capable principal contractor who can deliver a project with little or no disruption to their service.
Unfortunately, in June 2022, Paddy passed away. While he had taken a step back from daily business, he would regularly frequent the office and offer words of advice. Paddy will be dearly missed.
Health & Safety
Hollyfort Services operate an excellent safety culture on site. We believe that you do not need to be a manager/ supervisor to be a Safety Leader. The company encourages everybody on site to speak up and authorise all to stop work if it is unsafe. Principle walks are undertaken on projects, which involve senior management from the client, Hollyfort Services and its subcontractors. Their involvement demonstrates commitment to everybody on site and reinforces the safety message.
Our ISO OHSAS is embedded within our business rather than existing as a sub-system.
Our safety culture is achieved by management leading by example: Knowing and following the rules; Avoiding complacency for the risks of the job, Reporting safety hazards, violations and incidents; Maintaining open communication with all on site; Implementing change to improve safety and working conditions; Encouraging staff to exhibit safe behaviours; Giving positive feedback to people that are working safely; Making everybody aware that unsafe behaviour is unacceptable; Being involved in safety initiatives.
Corporate Social Responsibility
We strive to act as a responsible organisation at all times which means:
At a minimum ensuring compliance with all applicable legal requirements and with other requirements relevant to our business
The development of a Sustainability Strategy, which will be reviewed each year, and will provide a framework for setting and reviewing robust sustainability objectives and targets and mechanisms for reporting progress against these
We recognise that we have a corporate social responsibility to protect the environment and help to prevent climate change, as part of our CSR policy we make donations to Green Initiative Charities such as An Taisce.
Hollyfort Services are registered on the EPA Green Business initiative where we scored on overall 92% for our resource efficiency.
Our biggest environmental impact is our carbon footprint, which we have introduced measures to reduce, Hollyfort Services review and upgrade all of our maintenance vehicles annually in accordance with our Green Sustainable Policy to ensure we have the best and latest in technology to reduce emissions and fuel usage. We have recently drafted a five year procurement plan to have a fully renewable fleet by 2025, which means we will only use electric vehicles where possible.
Our head office also has a number of sustainability initiatives and measures in place such as a heat recovery system, low energy monitors, LED lighting, solar energy, recyclable waste policy, and we also encourage schemes such as cycle to work and working from home.
